Location
Central Portugal covers the area between the Silver Coast; Coimbra, the old university town; the castle town of Marvão that lies against the border of Spain; the Serra de Estrela, a glacial mountain range; the Mondego River and small inland towns such as Gois and Tábua.
In addition, the following places are worth a visit, although they get crowded in summer, so keep an eye out for lots of tourists!
